Server

JOB DUTIES
Greets all guests within 30 seconds of arrival with a pleasant introduction and working knowledge of food allergies at the table
Engage with customers in a friendly manner
Demonstrates knowledge of the menu, with the ability to make suggestions when asked by our guests
Take food and drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitude
Clears and keeps tables clean throughout the dining experience
Stays engaged with tables throughout the dining experience
Frequently checks in with guests to ensure the utmost pleasant and successful dining experience and takes action to correct any problems
Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes
Collect payments from tables
Helps out with other positions in the restaurant as needed including cleaning, stocking, breaking down, and setting up as directed by the manager and/or immediate supervisor
Keeps a professional appearance
Keeps a positive work energy balance with co workers
JOB REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must be at least 18 years old to be considered for this position.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Must be outgoing, pleasant, and have the desire to provide an upscale and unforgettable experience to all guests
Must demonstrate an ability to work well under pressure with all staff members
Must perform high-quality work while unsupervised
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds repetitively per shift
Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
Must be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food when necessary
Must be willing to follow instructions and ask questions for clarification if needed
Must be able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system
Must be able to work in a busy restaurant environment
Must demonstrate working knowledge of the point-of-sale system and handling of money
Must demonstrate knowledge of our food and beverage menus and be able to offer suggestions to our guests when asked
Restaurant experience is a plus
Enhanced knowledge of high-end cocktails and wines is highly appreciated
COMPENSATION
$10-15/hour, depending on experience
