Dishwasher

JOB DUTIES
Load, run, and unload the dish machine
Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately
Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle
Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware
Keep dish room clean and organized
Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for the dining room and kitchen
Bag and haul dish room trash to the dumpster at designated times
Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss
Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies
Clean food preparation and production areas as required
Assist with cleaning the grease trap as needed
Assist with larger cleaning tasks as delegated by the management team and the chef
Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor
JOB REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must be at least 18 years old to be considered for this position.
Must be able to work in a hot, wet, humid, and loud environment for long periods of time.
Must be physically able to lift, reach, bend, and stoop.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds repetitively per shift
Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours
Must be a team player and be willing to work in a team environment
Must be outgoing, pleasant, and have the desire to provide an upscale and unforgettable experience to all guests
